Who we are

What we collect
When you request a bid we collect your name, phone number, email, project postcode, project type, description and any drawings you choose to attach.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is your request for us to take steps before entering a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Sharing
We don't sell your data or use it for marketing. It is stored securely with our hosting providers, who process it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within a reasonable period. Client records are kept as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing enquires@smcg.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
